This design was my submission for the North Sea Jazz Festival poster competition back in 2018, earning a place among the top 10 runner-ups. It blends the essence of the North Sea with the soulful notes of jazz music—drawing inspiration from vintage 1940s cartoons featuring octopuses skillfully maneuvering the piano keys with their limbs. Overall, I sought to infuse a playful yet evocative charm into the artwork. Accompanying the poster is a t-shirt design that I proposed specifically for the event.
